Illustrator

The Mips are ‘The Most Important Places. They are illustrated maps detailing everything that makes a place unique.

I believe that most people have an affiliation with maps, often seeking to find something familiar within the mass of information. My aim is to take that familiarity a step further by detailing the buildings, the landmarks, the houses, everything that makes that area significant and special.

A Mip can be complete fantasy, it can combine countries, or can read like a reference map. I have been fortunate enough to draw some fantastic places, some of which I haven’t even been to yet!

Specialisms:

Creating bespoke illustrated maps.

I work in various styles and various mediums, from a 10ft canvas in acrylic, to a graphic in Illustrator or hand drawn and completed in Photoshop.

Clients:

Anchorage Museum, The Big Issue, One Canada Sq, East Cheshire Council, Brixton Overground, Absolutely Magazine, Keatings Estate Agents, Anglia Ruskin University, Curiocity Magazine, Marrakech-Riad
