Introducing Tony Elsworth-Smith, a senior creative and creative consultant, who has worked on many of the brands that fill our cupboards and our driveways, from Cadbury to Renault.
In a career spanning more than 20 years, it might be easier to list the product categories for which Tony has not produced award-winning, eye-catching work.

We caught up with Tony to find out more.
It all started with a couple of cats…
“A few years ago, I met Jane Mote,
co-chair of Akin,”
explains Tony. ‘I sold her a couple of kittens in fact. Then we started bumping into each other on the train to London. We spent many a happy hour being stuck between stations or turfed out mid-journey onto freezing platforms only to be told the next train was cancelled, re-routed, broken down, blah blah, etc. Such fun.”
Shortly after Lockdown #1, Tony called Jane, who runs the video production company beechtobeach,
for a coffee and a catch up. With her customary enthusiastic energy Jane told Tony all about Akin. Tony’s interest was piqued…
“What I look forward to most with Akin is getting together, drinking wine, having deep and meaningful conversations with kindred spirits - and having fun,” says Tony.
Until then, Tony is keen to meet like-minded creative people virtually. “I want to share experiences, exchange ideas and work on projects together,” he explains. “Aside from ‘work’ projects, I’d like to explore more stuff of my own – painting, drawing, video. When you interact with like-minded others, your creativity always benefits.”
